Site Review: Earn Free Bitcoins (4 updates)

I should have reviewed this site sooner, since it's one of the best sites to get free bitcoins and possibly the one that works the best. It's also got a couple of extras that make it really integrated as a website into the bitcoin world. Let's check out Earn Free Bitcoins today:

Update 2, 26/02/2013: This website might not be working anymore...
Update 3, 26/02/2013: The site's got a lack of advertisers, but this is a temporal status that will change soon. Stay tuned!
Update 4, 27/02/2013: Earn Free Bitcoins works again!

How It Works:

  • Earn Free Bitcoins gives you free bitcoins after you input your Bitcoin address, solve a verbal captcha, visit a website during a certain amount of time and click on a link labeled as "Next".
  • You'll earn from 60µ฿ to 180µ฿ every time you do this.
  • There's a countdown at the upper right corner indicating the time you must be at each website; it could be one, two, three or more minutes (I've personally never had to wait more than three). Sometimes you may not even have to wait a single second and the "Next" link will appear right away. When the countdown ends, click on "Next". If they have more websites to show you, they'll give you the option to solve a new verbal captcha and check out a new website. If there are no more websites for you to check out, they will tell you to come back the following day.
  • Your payments are processed almost instantaneously. Once you've clicked on the "Next" link after the countdown, you'll receive your bitcoins in minutes.
  • They've got one the very few referral services that actually works, rewarding you with around 30µ฿ for each visitor you refer to their site.
  • They've also got a dice game in the same spirit as the SatoshiDice website. They'll redirect you to it when they have no more sites to show you.

Enter your bitcoin address and "Start Earning"...

... Solve the captcha and "View Next Site"...

... Wait for the countdown to end...

... And click "Next". Repeat and earn free bitcoins!

Best Strategy:

  • Create a new Bitcoin address only to receive bitcoins from Earn Free Bitcoins. This way you can assure yourself that they are actually paying you.
  • Bookmark the site and have your Bitcoin address easily accesible.
  • When you get up, visit the site, paste your Bitcoin address, solve the captcha and start visiting the websites it shows you. Since there's no possibility to know whether there are new websites for you to check out, do this several times during the day. I personally do it when I get up, after lunch and right before going to sleep.
  • Remember you must press on the "Next" link to receive your bitcoins; if you wait for the countdown to end but don't do this you'll receive nothing at all.
  • Reload the captcha if it has difficult to read letters, such as capital "i" or non-capital "L".
  • You don't really have to browse the websites. You could have them on one tab of your browser while you wait for the countdown to end doing other things on other tabs. However, some sites contain good information, so don't dismiss them automatically.
  • If you have a web with a decent amount of visits or you feel confident about your advertising skills, use their referral affiliate program. It works like a charm; when people use your link to visit their site, you'll receive a few bitcoins, which makes for unexpected little rewards arriving at your digital wallet throughout the day. Update 1, 18/02/2013: As one of the administrators from Earn Free Bitcoins commented below, affiliate payments are now made once daily by default, although you now have the option to change the settings for your address to receive them right away (as it used to be) or when they reach a certain threshold.
  • I haven't personally tested their Dice Game, but I guess it will work just as the SatoshiDice web.

You can expect this kind of payments

Site Review:

  • Expected profit: 4,5/5. Only with the standard "bitcoins for visits" model you'll make around 600µ฿ per day. But if you successfully use their referral system you can increase that amount.
  • Convenience: 3/5. Waiting is boring. Filling captchas too. At least the wait isn't as long as in BitVisitor. Also, beware of a couple of websites they show, because they are scams (I must write an article about them...).
  • Payment speed: 5/5. Almost as fast as it can be.
  • Risk: 0/5. None. If you play their Dice Game this could be a different story though...
  • Final Score: 8,5/10. Earn Free Bitcoins rewards you with an acceptable quantity of coins for visiting websites. Also, you don't have to wait as long as in other places. However, what really makes it stand out between other "free bitcoins for visits" websites is its referral system. I just love seeing how little amounts of bitcoins find their way to my wallet without me doing anything to get them!

    1. Send an email to with the link to your blog and I'll see. This is not the appropriate place to discuss this.

  2. Hey there, just to let any readers know about our referal program - affiliate payments are now made once daily instead of after every referred visit - due to numerous requests.
